The Board of Directors in conjunction with the Director, assists in hiring and dismissing staff, managing finances and legal questions, determining fees and policy, direction and program content and organizing fundraising. 

The Board is represented by members from the parent/guardian, community members at large and is composed of the following, chair, vice-chair, treasurer, secretary, and 3+ other members. The board meets approximately once a month. A general meeting is held once a year, where new board members are elected. All families of PCD are encouraged to attend the board meetings and to serve as member of the board.

All parent/guardians are welcome to participate on any committee of interest.
